Dell's proprietary DDR5 modules
Dell has introduced the proprietary form factor for DDR5 that will be used in its laptops. It's called CAMM (Compression Attached Memory Module). Apparently, the idea is to replace two SO-DIMM slots with one CAMM that would integrate dual-channel.
WindTerm is a new console for Linux
WindTerm joins the long list of consoles for Linux. In this case, it makes it easier to write very long commands and stores large histories without hardly using memory.
Core i5-11400F
Someone has brought us a Core i5-11400F that comes with 6 Rocket Lake cores at a cruising frequency of 4.4GHz. In AVX2 it has a performance very similar to the i7-8086K with two-thirds of its consumption. It stays in position 25 of the overall ranking.
Why aren't lithium batteries recycled
