AM5 will only come with DDR5 support
According to rumors, AMD's next socket that will support the future 5nm Ryzen 7000, will only come with support for DDR5 memory. AM5 will also come with support for PCIe 5.0.
JPEG XL support comes to FFMpeg
The famous video and image encoder FFMpeg has included JPEG XL support, something that will arrive in the next version. JPEG XL is a lossy compression format that offers similar performance to AVIF.
