The last year of Nvidia, AMD and Intel in GPUs

New version of Box64

Box64 is a 64-bit x86 emulator that can run Linux programs on RISC-V platforms. In this new version, they have focused on improving the performance and compatibility of Steam.

Ryzen 9 5900HX

Someone has brought us an 8-core Zen 3 laptop. The Ryzen 9 5900HX has a performance similar to the Ryzen 5 5600 and ends up in position 73 of the overall ranking.

Modified BIOS for Nvidia

Someone has created a tool that allows you to install practically any VBIOS on almost any Nvidia graphics card. The program manages to bypass the protection that the company introduced 10 years ago to prevent the use of modified BIOS.

LibreOffice 7.6 available

LibreOffice 7.6 comes with an extensive list of improvements although this time, no new features have been included.

Core i9-13900HX

Someone has brought us a new Raptor Lake that expands our already extensive collection of i9-13900. This time it's the HX variant's turn, a portable CPU with 8 P cores and 16 E cores that ends up in the eleventh position of the overall ranking.

Nvidia presents DLSS 3.5

Nvidia has presented version 3.5 of its DLSS scaling technology. It says it is ready for this autumn and will be compatible on GPUs starting from the RTX 20 series. This version includes improvements in the appearance of objects to which ray tracing is applied.

50TB tapes

IBM has released a new tape drive with 50TB cartridges without compression. These drives almost triple the capacity of the current LTO-9 and have a transfer rate of 400Mbps.
