Sandisk launches new brand
Sandisk has introduced its new SSD drives from the newly launched Optimus brand. Prices start at €500 for the 1TB drive, go through €1000 for the 2TB and reach €1800 for the 4TB.
Linux 6.19 available
Linux 6.19 comes with LASS, a technique that mitigates security attacks by speculative execution on Intel CPUs without penalizing performance as much. It also brings improvements in memory management on ARM and compatibility with large blocks in the EXT4 file system among many other things.
RISC-V board for the Framework
The repairable Framework 13 laptop has a new component in its hardware repertoire. It is a board with an 8-core RISC-V CPU at 2.5GHz and the possibility of installing 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
