El otro dia intente overclockear mi P4 16 a ver hasta cuanto llegaba. Estube toda una tarde haciendo pruevas de megahercios, Dram Ratio (CPU:DRam), voltages i toas esas cosas que hay que ir probando.
Pongo el bus a 150 MHz (150 x 16 = 2400), la CPU lo aguanta perfectamente subiendo el voltage un 15 % sobre 1.5 (1.725 V). La memoria la dejo en 2.5 V i le pongo en el ratio CPU:DRam 3:4.
Me voy a lo de DRam timing selectable i le pongo 2-6-3-3 y reinicio.
Mi sorpresa llogo cuando arranco i me pone que el bus iba a 150/200 MHz (150 para la CPU i 200 para la memoria 3:4). Arranco un programa para testear la memoria, y me dice que esta ba a 400 MHz. Como puede ser que una simple memoria marca Transcend 333 funcione a la perfeccion a 400 MHz i a Cas 2. O es que me he dejado por tener en cuenta algo.
NOTA: Haciendo un test de memoria con el sandra (Memory Bandwidth Benchmark) me sale:
RAM Int Buffered iSSE2 Bandwidth 2990 MB/s
RAM Float Buffered iSSE2 Bandwidth 2950 MB/sSegun comparo con las estadisticas que hay alli, se comporta como una PC3200 CL2.5 DDR y solo es superada por la RIMM PC-1066
