If it intimidates you a lot, start only with the cleaning, which will probably be most of the problem, and this way you start with smaller challenges, and opening the laptop twice or three times is not a problem.

Take it easy, with the time it takes, inform yourself well and without pressuring yourself, you don't need to be a serious artist, just be careful and patient.
