As Espinete says, for high-end OCs, it's better to look for a motherboard that can handle it and a matching liquid cooling system.
Knowing the rest of the components would also help decide if it's necessary to push that micro that hard, not because it can't reach 4.5 (there are plenty of guides out there), but because if the rest of the components aren't up to par, it's only going to serve to wear out the motherboard and micro.
As for lasting as long as possible, "long life" and "OC" don't mix well, but a good motherboard with that micro should last you at least 4 more years, that doesn't mean you won't need to upgrade it by adding RAM or renewing the graphics within a year or two. As I said, knowing the rest of the components is also important.
