hello friends I am new and just starting to understand the process of overclocking I join this forum to find help since I do not have good training in the subject. Well explained my reason I proceed to tell you my doubts= I appreciate your collaboration and understanding since I do not know the terminologies in computer science==( I have an asrock G41M-VS3 R2.0 motherboard " ASRock > G41M-VS3 R2.0 " with a CPU INTEL DUAL CORE E5300 2.6 GHZ processor 2GB ram memory
and a 250GB disk fully functioning Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 operating system
well I just want to overclock it using the OC TUNER tool from asrock but I do not know how to overclock the ram either if it is possible I appreciate your collaboration and thank you very much
That motherboard will not allow much overclocking, the good thing is that this processor has a high multiplier and with raising the FSB to 266 it should already have an important frequency, you will need a little more voltage but that would be better to put a picture of the bios of the motherboard, the part where it is overclocked. it is a very basic motherboard and it will not be able to do much look here I found something.
DRAM Frecuency [AUTO] here according to the memory you have put a manual value approximate to the memory, that after putting the CPU frequency
DRAM Command Rate [AUTO]
CPU Frecuency (MHz) [200] here for example 250
PCIE Frecuency (MHz) [100]
DRAM Voltage [AUTO]
NB Voltage [AUTO]
VTT Voltage [AUTO]
GTLRef Voltage [AUTO]
I do not see the CPU voltage, it would be better to put a picture of the bios area where those options I put are.
