well I think I've decided on the i5 now, I'll see the model I don't want to spend a fortune if I'm not going to get the most out of it. I'm not going to overclock so I think I can save myself the cooler. But I also don't want it to be short in 2 years
Mande? Let's see it's a processor, not the size of a pair of pants, you buy the best you can and when it becomes obsolete then what are you going to do... The biggest difference is between the normal and "K" ones that are good for OC and a little less i5 or i7 with/without HT that performs a little more, but it's not a huge difference.
