Basically between the Asus that you mentioned first, the Gigabyte G1 and the MSI twin force the differences are few, choose the one you find cheaper of these three. Of the others but of the same brand, for example the 2x of msi, they change the materials that are a little worse and that do not have a backplate, which is a surface that makes the graphics card more robust. Since you are going to spend money on a 970 I would look at the first three for the quality of materials.

The case specifies a limitation in HEATSINK of 161mm and the heatsink is 159 in height. If it doesn't fit, it is returned for fraud :risitas:

Now seriously, I doubt it won't fit, that's true, mount the heatsink before the card, although it is cut for backplate I think it doesn't quite reach once mounted in the case.

The history of Asrock is intimately linked to that of Asus since it began as a subsidiary of Asus and a few years ago "became independent" to follow its own path.
It's not that it was a bad brand but it was the "second" of Asus and of course the star products were for Asus.
But since they separated they have been doing things well and offer very competitive products in all ranges.

Between the Asus P8P67 PRO and the Asrock as you can understand the differences are reduced to details that depend on the type of equipment you want to assemble, if you need more SATA 3 connections or if you need 3 PCI-e instead of 2, apart from these important details, in terms of quality I think they go hand in hand.

      Best regards

Gracias y saludos.
