Pues nunca lo he probado, pero KDE tiene una característica que le permite compartir el escritorio.

si lo q kieres es iniciar una sesion X-Window en tu makina de forma remota, el sistema cliente-servidor d las X
t permite hacerlo perfectamente, eso si: es una sesion d usuario independiente a las sesiones del resto d usuarios
q esten trabajando en la makina.echale un vistazo a la pagina man de "X" y en la web www.xfree86.org tienes
