Duda modem usb, como poner ventilador

hola, tengo un modem, el famoso comtrend ct-350 de retevision/wanadoo, y me gustaria instalarle un ventilador de 4cm, a 12v, mi duda es, si la corriene la puedo sacar de la misma toma interna del modem, sin k afecte al la comunicacion modem/pc

El modem tiene alimentador? si es asi y te da 12V no veo porque no podrias hacerlo, pero me da que va directamente alimentado a traves del propio puerto USB y este solo da 5V asi que no creo que puedas hacerlo.
