Dudas - Forrar la caja de neopreno

Se le ha ocurrido a alguien? forrar la caja cn esa espuma k se le ponen a los tubos del desagüe en las tuberias de la casa, para aislar el ruido de la caja y las vibraciones..Solo forrar las paredes interiores.
Que pasaria si le lo pego al disco duro para dejar de oir el sivlido del motor? esque ya esta viciado cn muchas horas de uso… se prenderia fuego?
