Controlar velocidad de ventiladores

Hola!
Tenia una duda… hay manera de controlar la velocidad de ventiladores con este tipo de conexion???
Se supone que el cable amarillo(en este ventilador no tiene) es solo para ver las rpm a las que va???
Yo es que tengo un controlador de estos de ventiladores… pero las conexiones k trae para el ventilador son distintas a las del dibujo... llevan una conexion para este tipo de ventiladores:
