Esto si que es una controladora RAID, y lo demas son….........

El caso es que mas adelante tengo ganas de pillarme otro Samsung SP2504C (250Gb, SATA2) para poner en RAID0 con el que ya tengo, y he visto una controladora que es PCIe x8 que tiene que ser la h*stia por capitulos ;D

raid 6? a tanto no llego todavia no me he enterado bien de como es el 5, vamos eso es un mini pc en si, lo unico que no veo es esto -One SODIMM socket to support DDR333 SDRAM with ECC protection, Upgrade to 2GB for ARC-1260 model, en la foto no se ve vamos. y tampoco veo el precio

joe he descubierto hasta el raid level 7 no sabia ni que existia, un pokillo carillo si que es, mas si no se le va a sacar partido claro
bueno el modelo 1260 lo he encontrado por 1299€ esta bien eh

Ya hablando en serio, yo es facil que para marzo tenga la 1210 y dos Samsung SP2504C en RAID 0 y pondre tests haber la caña que meten ;D

No es por nada, pero el Raid 6 necesita 4 discos como mínimo:

Además, no he visto en las características donde pone que sólo tiene 2 discos, además, yo veo 4 "enchufes" en la foto.

GALAXIS, ¿no te merecería más la pena una controladora RAID más normalita? ¿100€ o así? Para hacer un Raid 0 de dos discos lo veo totalmente excesivo, seguramente no notarás grandes diferencias de rendimiento.

Tiene 4 conectores SATA, y en una web Europea la he visto por 370€ : Areca ARC-1210 (4x SATA300 RAID PCI-E x8) 128MB

MonXP: Es que mas adelante si cambio de caja (La Koolance PC2-601 la tengo a reventar) podria hacer un RAID5
