No instala adaptador de red 1394

He instalado una tarjeta firewire pero en el administrador de dispositivos aparece con el nombre "adaptador de red 1394" y con el asterisco amarillo y el mensaje "Este dispositivo no puede iniciar. (Código 10)".
No vienen drivers y en la pagina oficial no hay, me exais 1 cable???

Que sistema operativo usas? … lo tienes actualizado? ... has instalado los drivers del chipset de la placa base?

Win XP SP2, y tengo instalaos los drivers k vienen en el cd de la placa
