Memorias ECC REG

resulta que me prestaron 2 x 512 DDR 266 CL2.5 ECC REG
pero mi mother no las reconoce ( el de la firma )
por lo que pude leer estas memorias funcionan solo para Xeon (por ser registradas)existe alguna posibilidad de que funcionen en mi mother ?
