¿Son iguales estas placas?

Las placas en cuestion son:
A7V8X A7V8X-X, creo que las dos tienen el mismo chipset y que tienen unas pocas diferencias,
pero lo que me pregunto es si esas diferencias obligarian a formatear el HD en el caso de sustituir
una por otra.Graciaaaaas.

Comparten chipset pero la controladora de red y el audio son distintos. La A7V8X incorpora controladora Promise con raid y firewire que la A7V8X-X no tiene.
Me parecen muchas diferencias. No aseguro que obligue pero sí sería recomendable realizar instalación desde el principio al cambiar de placa. Si fuera mi caso, no lo dudaría; instalaría desde 0.
