Botones desaparecidos

Hola, a ver si alguien me puede dar una ayudita.
Desde hace unos dias cuando arranco con Win 98 y accedo a paginas web donde hay botones activables y cosas asi, estos no los veo con el consiguiente problema de que no puedo entrar a los enlaces a los que llevan esos botones. No se si me explico, en lugar de los botones aparecen unos cuadros blancos con una x.
