Registro de configuraciones en win95

¡¡Hola!!
Pues nada, que en el portatil de una amiga mia le dio el otro dia un flipe y paso de arrancar bien a preguntar en el inicio que no se habia encontrado el registro de configuraciones y que especificara una, y me aparecian hasta siete opciones, selecciona la primera y va bien, pero, ?eso se puede quitar? si es asi ¿como?
