Multiplicador de un San Diego

Hola, tengo una placa base Abit AT8 y resulta que cuando bajo el multiplicador del micro sale reflejado en todos lados, pero cuando entro en windows y arranco el cpuz, este me dice que no se ha cambiado y sigue usando el multiplicador por defecto de mi micro, ¿es esto posible? es decir, ¿pueden venir algunos micros completamente bloqueados?
