me gustaria saber si con una controladora IDE podria poner otros dos o si necesitaria una controladora SCSI -

Creo que con una controladora IDE tendrías bastante y te saldría mucho más barato que poner una SCSI. También podrias aprovechar los RAID si tu placa los tiene.

Puedes poner hasta 4 discos duros si no tienes RAID y 8 si tienes RAID.
