Si un chipset permite RAID (sea el que sea), una placa que monte dicho chipset, llevará por narices opciones de RAID, o el fabricante decide si ponerlo o no?

Por narices tampoco, en el caso Intel tienes el ICH. Igual que encuentras P35 con ICH9, lo encuentras con ICH9R.

Pero yo por ejemplo he pedido un PC Dell que lleva Chipset G33.. Ese chipset soporta RAID, pero no estoy seguro de si esa placa lo admitirá…
