Una Audigy en Vista

Buenas de nuevo!
Instalé mi "vieja" audigy en Vista, pero me esta trayendo de cabeza, no hay manera de configurarla correctamente :(. En primer lugar, los drivers se instalan tras muchos reintentos, pero siempre se deja desinstalado el sintetizador MPU401 (creo que se llamaba asi). Luego, no hay forma de arrancar la aplicación de configuración de altavoces ni el Surround Mixer, por lo que no hay forma de activar altavoces 5.1, solo deja usar 2.0…
¿Alguien que haya pasado por esto seria tan amable de contarme como lo solucionó¿?... Estoy al borde de jubilar la tarjetita y encargar una X-Fi Xtreme Audio (la mas economica de las XFI).
