Tarjeta PCI con puertos sata

Hola si se me rompen los conecotres SATA de mi placa base puedo sustituirlos por una tarjeta PCI ,mi pregunta es ¿como afecta a la velocidad de transferencia del HDD , es menor , mayor o igual? Gracias

Son iguales, sin son sata2, otra cosa sera el posible problema para arrancar el pc con uno de esos puertos, ya que pueden necesitar drivers.
