Expulsar dispositivo SATA de forma segura

Hola a todos,
Al desplegar el icono para desconectar las unidades USB de forma segura también me aparecen las unidades de disco duro SATA que tengo en mi equipo. ¿Existe alguna manera de configurar Windows (7 Ultimate 64bits) o la BIOS para que no aparezcan?

pues es simple pones el raton encima y pulsas personalizar
y elijes mostrar solo notificaciones y listo
esto es en vista y win 7 claro

ok, gracias. Pero, ¿esto es siempre así? porque cuando tenía configurado el raid no me aparecían y con los IDE pues tampoco.
