[Ayuda] i7 2600k + MSI Z68A-GD55 (G3)

Buenas estiamdos quiero contales que soy nuevo en esto y ya habia realizado un OC pero segui una guia en youtub de un tipo con mi misma placa y cpu pero ahora me cambie a windows 8 y las temp me van algo altas con el intel burn test
no lo deje mucho rato y me decidi a utilizar el oc genie 2 de mi placa pero este me mantiene la frecuencia a 4.2 todo el rato cosa que el overclock que tenia antes no me andava primero a frecuencia base 1 ghz y despues aumentaba eso es normal? y hasta cuanto podria llevgar el overclock de mi pc estas son las caracteristicasSO: Windows 8 Pro 64 bits
