Duda con el scaner HP 3750 y el USB 2.0

Tengo una GIGABYTE GA-8STXC Rev 1.0 con el chipset SIS 645DX y el SIS 962L
Me he comprado una impresora HP 5550 y un escaner HP 3750, todo funciona correctamente pero programas como HWINFO me indican que la impresora funciona en USB 2.0 y el escaner en USB 1.0
Según la web de HP y la hoja de características, el escaner es USB 2.0 pero según la comparativa de algunas revistas (computer hoy) es USB 1.0, alguien sabe algo al respecto ?
