Programas en WindowsXP

Hola a todos
Resulta que tengo el wXP y el w98 en un disco duro y en otro disco duro tengo las instalacion de muchos programas. Pues bien, algunos de ellos no puedo copiarlos al XP, sabeis porque es?, me da el siguiente error: "No se puede copiar archivo: no se puede leer del disco o archivo de origen". Por ejemplo, tenia el winzip en ese disco duro y me daba ese error. He tenido que bajarmelo de internet.
