Chaintech 7njs y RAID

vereis estoi intentando poner 2 discos duros que tenia puestos en raid en mi vieja KG7 en el RAID de la chaintech pero no me va, no se si es k lo mismo lo estoi haciendo mal, por eso os pido ayuda, os digo como lo estoi haciendo,
Tengo 1 disco duro puesto como master y otro como slave (tambien he provado con los 2 en master) luego los conecto al IDE RAID de la placa, por cierto solo tiene 1 IDE para conectarlo en raid? es un poco estraño no creeis, luego arranko el pc y me meto en la bios del RAID pero me detecta 1 disco solo, he oido k en algunas placas hay k conectar 1 disco al raid y otro el sata? alguien me podria ayudar por k yo no se que hacer ya.Un saludo
