Supongo q habran diversidad de programas q capturan pantallas, pero si tienes el gimp instalado (casi todas las distribuciones lo instalan x defecto), lleva una opcion para capturar pantallas en:
Fichero->Adquirir->Captura de pantalla…
Le das los parametros q kieras y ya esta. -
ksnapshot, lo trae KDE por defecto
y si no como te han dicho el gimp
