ATI9700 + Redhat 9

E ido a instalar redhat 9, hace ya tiempo instale mandrake, redhat8, slackware 8..pero en una geforce 4, esta vez tengo una 9700 y quiero instalar redhat 9, y arranca bien y demas, pero cuando empieza l gestor de instalacion anaconda, reconoce el monitor, grafrica, raton etc, me sale este error:

You may safely reboot your systemy debo reinciiar, e probado con la geforce i si que rula, que puedo hacer??

Por cierto, se me olvido decir, q el problema creo que esta en las X que no las carga bien, pero no se mas, jeje

Es algo con las ATI, porque a mi el RH9 con la 8500 no me va y con la TNT2 si…
La verdad es que me tiene un poco harto :rabieta: :rabieta:

Pues, no se que han liado con redhat 9 y ati pq en redhat 8 y la misma grafica si que rula perfectamente todo…

Yo tengo una Radeon 8500LE y tira perfectamente con la red hat 9, no sé a qué se puede deber eso

Edita el archivo /etc/XF86Config-4 y la linea donde ponga 1:1:0 prueba a ponerle 1:0:1 o 1:0:0; a mi mi ati no me la localiza bien en el bus en la q está, espero q te sirva de algo.
