Windows XP + Sagem FAST 1000 adsl

A ver si a alguien le pasa algo similar.
Tengo el windows XP con el sevice pack 1 instalado. Todo ok, pero cuando le meto los drivers del sagem fast 1000 (para el adsl, por usb), adios windows. Se queda colgado al iniciarlo (con el cursor parpadeando en la esquina superior izquierda), y vuelta a reinstalar, y en cuanto le meto nuevamente los drivers, lo mismo
A alguien le pasa esto ¿?

mira el windows update, mira drivers y firmawares… sino no se me ocurre na mas o kizas es del puerto usb vete a a saber...
