quiero poder ver lo que se está bajando el xmule y el nicotine en el servidor desde otro pc de la red local, y poder interactuar con ese escritorio
me he bajado el vnc y me deja ejecutar remotamente un escritorio pero no compartirlo entre varios pcs!
no hay nada parecido al "remote administrator" de win?

KDE tiene una herraimenta para compartir el escritorio y creo que es idéntica a lo que tú dices de Windows, la pega es si no usas KDE
