Instalar Rhide

Tras casi 6 horas intentando instalar el RHIDE de las narices no hay forma, primero me pedia el Turbo Vision, despues el SETEDIT y por ultimo el GDB. Lo he instalado todo pero aun asi cuando hago el make me salen errores diciendome que no encuentra algunos archivos .h, .o y otros en /gdb y algun que otro directorio.
¿Alguien me puede hacer mini howto para instalar la porqueria esta?.
Tambien acpeto otros IDEs para linux mas faciles de instalar;)

Si tienes kde instalado, seguramente tendrás kdevelop por ahí, pruebalo a ver si te gusta.

Pero tengo que programar en modo texto, lo que seria el DOS para windows, ¿se puede con el kde?
