Cable para 2 monitores

a ver si alguien me puede ayudar, tengo un monitor y un retroproyector y no se como puedo conectarlos los dos a la vez al ordenata, hay algun circuito que se pueda hacer? e pensado en hacer una Y directamente pero me han dicho que va a perder señal, se puede evitar de alguna manera eso?
gracias a quien aporte sus ideas y/o experiencia

para eso lo mejor es conectar el retropoyector por el svideo/dvi, y poner las pantallas en modo twin.
