Hace un mes por lo menos que me he agenciado un nuevo procesador, un Pentiun IV 3200/800 y una placa para él, una ASUS P4C800 de luxe.
El caso que me está dando pereza hacer el cambio, porque el PIV 2500/533 y la placa, también ASUS P4G8Xque que tengo ahora me van perfectamente sin un fallo.
Pero lo haré no tardando.
Mi duda. Hecho el cambio ¿tengo que reinstalar el sistema operativo?
porque en ese caso, la cosa tiene más "bemoles"Saludos.

Pues yo en alguna ocasion he echo el cambio sin reinstalar, pero no te lo aconsejo ya q cuando lo hice, el Windows empezo a petar por todos lados

Yo lo he hecho varias veces con Windows 2000 Pro, y sólo tenía q meter el cd, hacer que instale como si fuera un disco duro vacío, y luego cuando te pregunta si kiero reescribir una instalación existente, eligo la previa. Se instala, sin más. Y al parecer, el rendimiento es el mismo (lo he hecho 4 ó 5 veces en el mismo PC, y si es malo lo debería notar).
No sé si con WinXP es diferente, pero tampoco tiene q ir muy allá… pero no pierdas de vista la imagen del sistema
