En firefox y Netscape se ve perfectamente pero en IE no, y no se porque.
Lo de las noticias está montado más o menos así:

En lugar de usar la propiedad "Visibility" de la capa, usa "Display":
Para hacer invisible la capa -> display: none;
Para hacerla visible -> display: inline;Saludos.
