Configurar la targeta de red

Buenas,akbo de istalar el Suse 9.2.Bueno el tema es q tengo 2 targetas de red,una es el q viene integrada en la placa,y la otra es una q istale yop.Pos vueno tengo un cable-modem y lo tengo conectao mediante targeta de red(la q istale yo).El tema es q tengo q meter unos dns,y no se donde meterlos ni nada.M gustaria saber como tengo q confgurar la targfeta para salir a internete.Enga pos muxas asias

A ver, no he usado nunca SuSe, pero seguro que tienes por ahí un asistente para configurar la tarjeta. Si el cable-modem utiliza DHCP, sin problemas, te lo configurará solito. Si no, simplemente metes tu la IP, DNS y demás según te lo vaya pidiendo y ya esta. ¿Resuelve eso tu problema? Esque lo normal no es configurar la tarjeta a mano, pero vamos, si es lo que quieres, es facil:
#ipconfing eth0 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 up
eth0: La tarjeta de red. Si tienes dos, serán eth0 y eth1.
Para los DNS: Edita el fichero /etc/resolv.conf y ahí metes los DNS que tengas, poniendo:
nameserver 194.179.1.100 (o la IP que tengan los tuyos) y ya esta, una linea para cada uno.
