Userenv

Desde hace tiempo he visto en más de un equipo (co nwindows2000 y XP) un error en los inicios de sesión, que a mi entender, lo único que hace es relentizar un par de segundo el arranque, nada más.
El error lo identifica en "userenv", error al cargar el archivo de registro.
He intentado buscar algo de documentación (hay bastante sobre userenv claro), pero no veo nada que me ayude.
Alguien a quien le pase?
