Programa para reducir tamaño videos

Hola a todos,
Estoy buscando un programa para reducir el tamaño de los video y que así ocupen menos para una pagina web. ¿Sabeis alguno sencillo de usar y que sea gratuito?
También estoy buscando otro con el que hacer una especie de videos musicales a partir de fotos. Se lo vi a un compañero de trabajo hace tiempo y el muy listo se fue sin decirme cual era.

Usa VirtualDub o alguo de los programas derivados. Tiene licencia GPL, luego no tiene trampa ni cartón.
