Problema asus 9550 GE

Muy buenas tengo un problema con una ati de asus la 9550GE de 256Mb, la cuestion es q la tenia con el win xp sin ningun servipack y me funcionaba bien, pero formatee y e instale el win xp pro con el sp2 y bien pero cuando instalo los driver de la pag de asus y reinicio empieza a cargar el windows pero justo antes de entrar a windows se apaga el monitor y ya no se enciende, solo puedo entrar en aprueba de fallos y cuando los desabilito o desistalo ya entra perfectamente a win.
Alguien sabe q puede estar pasando

Es evidente que hay un conflicto, podrias probar con los catalyst oficiales haber si te pasa, sino puede ser que los drivers de asus no estuviesen bien, o como dije al principio, tengan un conflicto con otros software.
