Actualizar Bios

He intentado actualizar la bios (la placa es una MSI KT3 Ultra 2 (6380E)) mediante el actualizador online de MSI. He desactivado el protector contra virus de la bios. El actualizador me crea un disco de rescate por si el flashing falla. Pero no me flashea nada, me reinicia el ordenador y sigo con la misma version.
No tengo apenas experiencia en este aspecto, estoy haciendo algo mal?
Algun otro camino?1 saludo. Viper.
