Ayuda para cambio de memoria

buenas, me taba dando la vueltitta por google y me tope con este foro. quiero ponerle 4 gb de memory a la laptop. ya se la info que necesito para cambiarla pero una pregunta: el everest me dice que el chipset de mi laptop tiene un maximun memory account de 2 gb… eso signifika ke solo le puedo poner 2 gb de ram??? agradeeceria la ayuda
