No dejan liberar el móbil orange?

Me he ido de orange y quería liberar el móbil que me dieron cuando empezé el contrato llamo y me dicen que no quieren/pueden liberarme el móbil porque ya no soy de orange, no es eso ilegal?, yo pagué por ése móbil y como consecuencia cuando se acaba la permanencia tengo derecho a ése móbil no?
Alguien sabe algo sobre este tema que em tiene mosqueado.
