Copias de seguridad en windows10

Buenas , tengo configurado las copias de seguridad en windows10 con el servicio que trae por defecto , tengo una serie de carpetas configuradas y las copias a un HDD externo.
El problema lo tengo cuando le doy a la opción de "restaurar archivos desde copias de seguridad" que entonces se me abre la app , pero se me queda en la barra de tareas.
Se os ocurre algo?

Salvo que el externo sea un SSD por USB3, es probable que le lleve un rato poder mostrarte la información sobre las copias que contiene.

Estoy trasteando y las copias las hago del disco C (SSD) al disco D que està montado en local y es un HDD normal.
