Actualización crítica en SSDs Samsung

Samsung ha publicado un firmware para solucionar un problema que hacía que sus unidades SSD tuvieran un envejecimiento muy acelerado. Las unidades que hayan fallado ya, no podrán arreglarse con este parche.

Cuando la unidad ya ha fallado solo permite lecturas, y supuestamente se puede clonar el sistema a una nueva unidad. En el articulo dicen haberlo intentado con el soft Samsung’s Data Migration, sin éxito ya que solo funciona en un disco de OS primario funcional.
También explican todo el proceso de actualización del firmware, pero no aclaran nada sobre que ocurre con aquellos a los que les llega tarde y han perdido su disco.
Lo mas importante, actualizar lo antes posible. Salu2.
