LCD Compatible??

Me gustaria saber si la famosa guia del lcd economico sirve para el LCD 20x4 de una famosa tienda de electronica que vende online en madrid y barcelona.
Primero de todo decir que no lleva el HD44780, pero les mande un mail para preguntar y me dijeron que es totalmente compatible.
En resumen: me gustaria saber si dan problemas los LCD "compatibles" o luego acaba dando lo mismo

Pd: El modelo de LCD es el 214-3553, marca Powertip
Pd2: Que tal os parece de precio este LCD (20x4 retoiluminado) poe 45 €?? -
Hi, no deberia darte problemas siendo compatible, muchos 'solo' son compatibles y no llevan el Hitachi..
En cuanto al precio lo veo un poco alto.Salu2 !
