Buenas, me preguntaba si alguien me podría indicar si un HD SATA es un dispositivo "arrancable". Es decir, al instalar un S.O. en ese disco este colocara su cargador en el MBR del disco y lanzará el S.O. o si necesita de un disco IDE y sería en ese MBR donde insertaria el cargador del S.O. Gracias por adelantado.

es arrancable, logicamente, des de la bios de las placas que incluyen controladora de serial ata ya hay en el boot sequence el sata
