¿Que fue de aquellas maravillas que hacian las Live! ?

Recuerdo que hace algunos añitos, un conocido se compró una sound blaster live! que le costó una pasta, y tenia funciones alucinantes a la hora de reproducir/alterar sonido, como transformar una canción cantada por un hombre en una voz de mujer o viceversa, o muchos otros efectos curioros que me gustaron mucho.
La pregunta es ¿Se puede hacer eso actualmente con las integradas? tengo una DFI Lanparty sli-DR con realtek 5.1 ¿Hay algun programa que permita esto?
